Tayo & Kemi
Tayo and Kemi Akinyemi are the lead pastors of Life Springs Church in Naperville, IL. They met as students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000. They later became sweethearts and have been married for over 17 years. They are blessed with six wonderful children.
God has graced Tayo to teach His Word with simplicity and impact. Tayo is passionate about God’s mandate of making disciples of all nations. He also loves to help believers walk in God’s abundant life.
God has graced Kemi to preach the Word and encourage believers to be all they are called to be. She loves worshipping the Lord and ushering people into the presence of God. She is passionate about children loving God, discovering purpose early, making right choices, and having godly relationships.
Tayo and Kemi are committed to seeing individuals and families thrive and flourish in every aspect of their lives including in their relationships, marriages, raising godly children, finances, career and all that concerns them. They are also passionate about college students and young adults being cognizant of their God-ordained purpose as they make significant choices that will affect their future.
Prior to Life Springs Church, they served in multiple capacities including as associate pastors and family life pastors. They have counseled many singles and married couples to walk in God’s best in their relationships and families for over 15 years. They have also actively served in various ministries including prayer, children’s, youth, and college ministries over the years.
They both enjoy connecting with people and being a blessing to others. They also enjoy family trips and spending time with each other and their children.
